No matter which direction you come from, Nuremberg is a central transportation hub and is optimally connected to the various traffic routes. At the intersection of several highways, centrally located in the rail network of the Deutsche Bahn and via an international airport, Nuremberg can be reached quickly and conveniently. The city has an excellent infrastructure and pleases its guests with clarity and good connections to suburban trains and subways.

Take the train to Nuremberg main station. From there you can walk to the Scandic Nuremberg Central in just 5 minutes.

A relaxed journey to Nuremberg is possible with the comfortable long-distance buses and there are a large number of connections. The Central Omnibus Station (ZOB) is located in the immediate vicinity of the main
train station. From there you can walk to the Scandic Nuremberg Central in just 5 minutes.

You can easily travel to and from Nuremberg by plane via the national and international flight connections at Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg. The airport is well connected to the city centre and the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg by public transport, taxi and (rental) car. Current flight connections to or from Nuremberg can be found here:

  • Signage from all directions and well-designed access routes to the Nuremberg City Center

Travel from the airport to the Scandic Nuremberg Central by underground
Direct transfer to Underground trains: Take Underground Line U2 from the “Airport” station towards “Nürnberg Röthenbach”; Zone A single ticket or Day Ticket (recommended if you expect multiple trips). The total travel time to station “Opernhaus” around 15 minutes. From here it is just a 5 minutes walk to the Scandic Nuremberg Central.

You can take a taxi from the airport to the Scandic Nuremberg Central any time; the trip takes about 25 minutes.
